Relevant Chemistry Education

Lehrbuch 'Relevant Chemistry Education: From Research to Practice'

The book will consist of about 15 chapters all dealing with issues related to the theory and practice of relevance in chemistry teaching and learning. A recently developed model for the meaning of relevance in science education (published in 2013 in Studies in Science Education) will serve as an advance organizer to connect the different perspectives in how to make chemistry learning more relevant to the learners. In the first instance, the book is not focusing the researcher community. The main target groups are the communities of practitioners: teachers, teacher educators, curriculum developers and CPD providers.
